• Earth & Sun Farmers Market

  Where: Balmoral State High School, Cnr Lytton Road and Thynne Road, Morningside

  Earth and Sun Farmers Markets will bring a festival feeling to our local area, with a rich cultural experience of food, music, fun and festivities for all. Delight in your Sunday morning gathering fresh produce, enjoying a coffee or simply taking in the sights and sounds of Earth and Sun Farmers Markets.
  
   
  
  

• Visit the Beelarong Community Farm

  When: Sunday, May 20, 2012 3:00pm
  Where: Corner of York & Beverley Street, Morningside

  Drop in to the Beelarong Community Farm, Morningside to see how they are growing organic, chemical free food in a wonderful sustainable farming environment so close to the city.  They meet every Wednesday 9am to Noon - and every Sunday 3pm to 6pm.  Additional to growing organic produce, other features of the farm include a greay water system, solar power, windy look & innovative composting techniques.  They are always looking for new people to share the environment and ideas with - why not come along and join in? Private Group and School tours can also be arranged for a minimal charge.  New members are always welcome and they encourage curious visitors to feel free to drop by on Wednesday morning or Sunday afternoon.

• Golf on Mondays for over 50's

  When: Monday, May 21, 2012 9:00am
  Where: Bulimba Golf Club, Quay Street, Bulimba

  Our "Over 50s" morning competition which averages 30 to 40 players each week, all interested in having a hit and enjoying each others' company. The competitions vary from week to week, so everyone gets to play in his or her favourite event. • Bubby Pilates & Little Ones Dance

  A unique opportunity to enjoy a workout whilst your little ones are in dance class. From Tuesday 7 June, Bliss Pilates will be holding Pilates, at the same time as Creative Tots class at Danzart. Everyone welcome - Expectant Mums, Mums with Bubs, Begginers - exercises will be adjusted to suit your level & ability.

  The Mummy Tree Market and the Work at Home Opportunities Expo are on Sunday 27th May from 9am to 1pm at River Park Place, Near Colmslie Pool, Col Gardner Drive, Morningside Brisbane. This is a great opportunity to find out about work at home opportunities, sample gourmet food and to shop for boutique, chic, inspired family products and services. Entry is free and there will be fabulous free children’s entertainment including children's craft activities by Tiny Art. The Mummy Tree Market is a fun-filled event and a great morning out!
